If you are looking for a laid back guy with great manners then you need look no further. Peter O'Brien, "Pete", is about a chill as they come. He is approximately 5 years old, weighs about 16 pounds and is just a great all around boy. His potty manners are perfect...he doesn't mess with the other dogs, even a meal time...sleeps in his crate all night but would definitely like the opportunity to sleep on the big bed, and he minds very well. He doesn't bark at every sound or person walking by unless the other dogs in the house do, then he will chime in, of course. He is affectionate without being in your face. He will lay next to you on the couch or in you lap if you put him there and if you throw a toy for him, he will happily go get it for you and would love it if you would play tug with him before throwing it again but if you don't, that's fine too. He does growl a little at the other dogs in the house if he's napping and they get too close but it isn't mean and he's never done more than that but he would probably do best as an only dog. He rides great in the car...walks great on the leash...and, if that's not enough for you, he has great chocolate brown and white markings. So, if Pete sounds like your guy, get your application in come out to PetsMart to meet him...you'll be glad you did!
