Friendly, happy, energetic pup that wants to run Flyball!
Poor little Phoebe, she was found in a ditch by the side of the road, poking her cute face up between all the weeds and trash, looking at cars as they drove by. Her foster mom did a double take, backed up her car, opened the door and called for her. Phoebe crawled out of the ditch, loaded with stickers, and crawled to the car where she promptly rolled over on her back for a tummy rub (the first of many, many to come). Her foster mom scooped her up and off they went to get a bath!
This sweetie is so friendly and happy and outgoing all the time! She has a lot of energy and loves to play with other dogs, especially big dogs (she goes to doggy day care at the boarding kennel where she is fostered), but her favorite thing to play with is the tennis ball. She will fetch it and bring it back for as long as her foster mom will throw it with the ChuckIt. Phoebe would be great at FLYBALL! She is speedy, prefers the big tennis balls rather than the small ones, brings it back and wants to do it again and again and again ...
Phoebe weighs 20 lbs and her estimated birth date is 8/1/15. She is fine with all people including children (she'd be fine with kids 5+ years old). She likes to sleep on her dog bed, will take a nap in her crate, walks OK on leash and has recently graduated from Beginner's Obedience Class. She is mostly house trained but sometimes has "submissiive unination" when she gets really excited.
Phoebe's ideal home environment would include a bigger canine brother or sister to play with, a doggy door to a backyard to exercise in, and an active family that wants a sweet, energetic pup to fill their days with fun and adventure!
