PJ 5 mo. spayed, Aussie / Mcnab, rescue
5 months old. PJ is 1/2 McNab Border Collie line, and 1/2 Australian Shepherd. And her soft demeanor shows this to be true.
From Porterville. She was not in a shelter, but not being cared for properly. She's shy as a result of neglect and improper socialization with people. But she is sweet, soft and submissive.
When P.J. got here she was carried to my intake yard, siting she "doesn't walk on leash". Well guess what? She does. I let her decompress while on another adoption appt., then leashed her up, and gently walked her into the back, where she met the following dogs: Bonnie, Tory, Ted, Pip, Fiona, Angel, Autumn and Teeny. No issues. In fact she found the feeders (ribs say she's not been getting enough to eat) and went in with zero trouble from the dogs trying to check her out... and she gave the none. No resource guarding issues, found that out right away.
PJ is in fact, stellar with other dogs. Photos tell the story. She went on her pack hike same day she got here and did great on leash. PJ is spayed, micro-chipped and current on vaccinations.
