Pony is a 2-year-old, spayed female dog weighing 33 lbs.
Pony was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Taiwan. Because there were so many other dogs there waiting for homes, we knew she had little chance as she was. When we first saw her, she didn't look like much in her condition, so skinny and with little hair on her. Her eyes looked very sad and scared, and she was sitting alone in the corner by herself, hoping day after day for someone to take her away from that place.
We immediately took her to an animal hospital for a thorough physical checkup. Luckily she didn’t have any serious diseases but had some dermal issues and malnutrition. After completing all necessary medical treatment, her fur has grown so soft and beautiful! Thanks to the foster family’s intensive care, she is becoming more and more confident each day. Right now she is a very happy, adorable girl who is very cuddly. Although she may be shy when first meeting strangers, she warms up quickly for petting, especially if there is another dog in the house. Pony also likes to play in the park. She loves making new friends and never gets into dog fights. A well-behaved and adorable dog like Pony deserves a forever loving home.
