United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed below.
Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.

A4995139 Prince Charming is a charming (obviously!) 2-year-old white-and-fawn male Pug and Beagle mix (aka Puggle) who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as a stray from El Monte on September 20th. Weighing 14 lbs, Prince Charming is a sporty, confident dog who adapts quickly to any situation—so he’d be a great companion to take with you to work, your favorite cafe, and all of your usual haunts. He has two cherry eyes (not painful, and easily fixed by an outside vet), but he seemed completely undaunted by their existence, impressing our volunteers with his spunky, can-do attitude, which makes us believe he’ll make friends wherever he goes. Prince Charming appears to be housebroken already, walks well on leash, and has good social skills with other dogs. This dapper dog (whom one volunteer suggested was a man’s dog in a small size!) will be a great addition to any loving home, especially for someone seeking a small indoor pet with big-dog personality.
