From the Foster:
Little Prince is an 8-pound guy with lots of love. He's a sweet little guy with a lot of personality, and a face that's so easy to love. You can't help but smile when you see him bopping around the house. He is friendly with everyone, both two and four legged, and he has a really mellow, sweet disposition.
He is good with other dogs. He gets along well with his foster brothers--he plays with them a little bit, but generally prefers to mind his own business. Overall, he's pretty low-key for still being a puppy. He has some puppy energy, but is content to lounge around with his family. His favorite spot is the top of the couch, right above your head.
He is still a puppy, so he's still learning about living in a home. He's picking up potty training on a schedule, and he's getting used to the idea of going outside. For now, we have to watch him outside to make sure he does his business. Sometimes he gets too distracted with noises and smells to remember to go outside and then wants to come in and play before he remembers to go! He is really starting to get the hang of outside being bathroom time. He is also doing well with crate training. The crate isn't his favorite spot, but he does well in there, and it's not a problem to get him to go into his crate- especially with fun toys and tasty treats in there! He is also learning about walks. He was a bit confused about the whole process at first, but he's learning quickly, and is developing nice leash manners. It has helped to look at his foster brothers to know what to do! Overall, he is a quick learner!
Prince has cherry eye in his left eye right now, that you can see in a couple of photos. He's still cute as can be, and the cherry eye is getting removed on October 11th .
Overall, he's just a really sweet, laid back, friendly little guy, who would fit well into lots of forever homes, so long as they don't mind a few dog kisses here and there!
All dogs are in individual foster homes throughout the Twin Cities.
