Age:7-8 months
Weight: 120
Location: Newtown, PA

Princeton is only 7-8 months old as he doesn't have all of his adult teeth yet. He will not be placed with a male dog.
Good with cats? unknown, will not be adopted to a home with a cat
Good with children? OK for kids over: 12
Activity Preference: Needs a couple walks a day.
IQ: Has some shining moments
Princeton's favorite things: FOOD is his favorite thing and he will do anything to get to it. Stuffies and balls are also great! Walks are big on the list and great for his condition (Panosteitis) car rides are lots of fun too.
Princeton is good at: meeting people, meeting dogs, going for car rides
Ideal home: another dog, no children, someone at home most of the day, a fenced yard, other: Breed experience
Training Needs: leash training, needs obedience training
Health issues: Panosteitis refers to a short-lived (self-limiting) and painful condition characterized by limping and lameness. It is a condition that affects the long bones in the legs of young dogs, usually between the ages of 5 to 18 months. It can occur with any breed, but it is more common in medium- to large-sized dog breeds.
Bone Inflammation (Panosteitis) in Dogs
Meet Princeton Princeton came in a little bit growly and protective. He still has his moments when he sees something new and out of place like a trash can on trash day. In the weeks he has been here he has turned into a happy, goofy and uncontrollable pup. He is now house trained and knows how to sit but is really strong and can pull on a leash if he is feeling energetic.
In the home he is ultra curious like any 7-8 month old and will get into trouble if not supervised. Everything is his. Princeton was a stray in the city, when he came he had a severe limp and a hernia. He has been neutered and had his hernia repaired. His Panosteitis is being managed with a low protein diet, anti-inflammation meds and pain meds.
This guy needs room. Even though his movement is temporarily controlled he can prance across a half acre in 4 prances.
You will need to be home for him. He can not sit in a crate for an entire work day. He needs constant mental stimulation and walks. He is too much dog for children. He can and will steal food right off of your plate and has done so. He is good with other dogs but annoying and gets in their faces, ears, and doesn't understand when enough is enough but it is not aggression, just doofiness. He needs obedience classes as he will probably weigh about 160 pounds and will be a terrorist if he doesn't have formal classes. Princeton's ideal home will be chosen based on what we know about him and his breed. Be ready to do lots of laundry.

Looking for a well mannered dog able to go to work with landscaping crew. At least a year n half. Please no time for house breaking. Live down the shore. Plenty of loving care and dog savy. Thank you
