DOB: 4/12. Weight: ~45 lbs.
Poor Rachel is in foster care now having spent about ½ her life in the shelter. But she knows that there are better things out there. She has seen doggie Kongs; she has tasted peanut butter; and she has had the freedom of a fenced in yard to run (but is never left out alone). But the best thing would be having her own person to love her. Rachel has the softest fur! She is house trained and crate trained. She is also going through her “teens” and is always interested in 2-3 things at once. Rachel would like to meet your dog before making a permanent commitment and would need to be introduced slowly. Also your dog would need to be submissive to her and very laid back. Even better, she would shine as a single dog.
She has had a rabies shot, 7-way shot, bordetella, and been wormed. She is also spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative.
Rachel came into the shelter on 3/28/14.
Our adoption fee is $130.00 and it helps to cover a portion of the dog's vetting costs. The adoption process includes the completion of an application followed by an interview.
