Foster Care: Howdy, I'm Rambo! I'm a 2 year old neutered male Pit Bull mix. At 72 pounds, I'm definitely a big boy. The volunteers here and my foster parents describe me as a gentle giant with excellent leash manners who would be a great hiking and cuddling buddy. I have a ton of great qualities such as being completely potty trained, crate trained, know my commands-Sit, stay, come, and one that is quite unique to me; if you give me a bone I know to eat it on my bed, if I take it off or it falls off my bed just tell me “take it to your bed” and I will pick it up and enjoy it there again. I really enjoy car rides long or short rides don’t matter to me, I just love sticking my nose out the window or watching the road. I am also a social butterfly with dogs and people of all ages! I am a bit rambunctious because of how excited I get when meeting people so leash introductions until my eagerness wears off is a good idea. Did I mention I like dogs too? Dogs of all sizes are fun for me but sometimes they don’t understand my play style so again leash introductions help me meet them and them meet me. My foster parent has a cat, she is a very dog savvy cat and I LOVE her…. sometimes a little too much. I just love licking cats and following them around. I’m gentle with them and get the hint when they swat me away but sometimes I wish they played like I do. I am the kind of guy that will do just about anything for a treat or keep myself entertained with a bone. If you are a new dog owner you and I may want to try some obedience classes so we could build a better bond with each other but don’t let this stop you from getting to know me, talk with a shelter representative or my foster parent! Since I’m in foster care and not at the shelter, you can make arrangements to meet me by contacting Morgan at Mlittle@phs-spca.org or 650-340-7022 x382. Ask for Rambo, #A570260.
