Ray is a 19 pound, 2 year old male Boston Terrier. Ray is a special needs boy, but before I tell you about his special needs, let me tell you about how awesome he is! Ray came to Dallas Animal Services as a stray with heat stress and possible neurological issues. He came home with me and was so happy to be here ! Within 10 days he taught himself how to use the two doggy doors that it takes to get to the backyard. Within 2 weeks he completely learned the layout of my house and could walk around just like all the other dogs without bumping into things. He gets along with all my other dogs and fits right into the pack . He LOVES to go out to my deck and lay in the sun in the mornings ! He is a Boston terrier so too much heat can be very bad for him, so don't let him play in the heat too long ! He learned the lay out of my backyard within a month and walks around confidently enjoying the grass & sun. He loves being near us and snuggling on our laps in the evenings . Ray is now kennel trained and house trained, and will often go into his kennel on his own once it is bedtime. Ray does has a history of seizures so we keep him kenneled while we are at work or when we are not home to keep him safe . He may be mostly blind and have seizures , but this little boy has so much love to give! He has truly made a miraculous turnaround since being in our home, and we are honored to have him here until he finds his forever family .
