“Can you love me enough to take me home?” Look into the face of this gentle soul, this old fellow named Red, and ask yourself if you can walk away. Can you give him a foster or forever home filled with the love and affection he’s been waiting for?
Mellow, well-seasoned at the love game, and a big fan of stuffed Kongs, you can’t go wrong with Red. Senior dogs are so much easier to bring into your home. They know the ropes. They’ve been around the block. Their only demands are for comfort, food, and lots of love. Bottom line: They make the best companions.
Old Red was rescued from the shelter just in time. His entire body was flea-infested, he suffered from anemia, and his back legs were weak and wobbly. He’s now been bathed and smells fresh as a daisy. He’s been fully vetted and received the medical care he needed. And aside from the anemia (caused by fleas), he is otherwise in good health for an 11-year-old senior.
Red is a 60 pound male Lab mix, about 11 years old, fully vetted, and up to date on all vaccinations. He really is just about the perfect senior dog…looking for his final & forever home. Will you be Red’s hero?
