Reese and her charming three-legged play bow will steal your heart. Shy at first, this gentle girl gets along well with other calm canine souls. Reese would do well with a relaxed family with no kids (or older kids); she is content just to hang out and nuzzle you, go on walks, and get those oh-so-good scratches behind her ears. Every once in a while, Reese will get silly and do zoomies in the yard. But, give her a bone to chew on and a comfortable place to nap, Reese is in her happy place.
Brave Reese's Pieces came to APA as a scared stray with a severely broken leg. While we could not save her limb, resilient Reese has never let that slow her down. She can startle easily with loud noises and lots of comings and goings; therefore, a quiet home will be best. Shy and tentative with new people; this thoughtful girl takes her time to trust. But, winning her trust comes with lots of sweet, sloppy kisses and a devoted friend for life.
After a difficult life, Reese is ready to find a soft place to rest, and a safe, forever home where she can blossom into her affectionate, couch-potato self. Will you open your heart and home to this beautiful girl?
