United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed below.
Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.

A4980297 Renee is a pixie of a 4-year-old fawn-colored female Chihuahua who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on August 5th as a stray from La Puente. Weighing 7 lbs, Renee currently has a mending broken front leg and is sporting a cast almost as big as she is—but it hasn’t slowed her down a bit. This sweet girl has personality plus, seeking cuddles and treats with gusto. She’s confident, curious, and outgoing—a born lap and purse dog who is eager to accompany her peeps anywhere. Because of her broken leg, we didn’t get a chance to try her on leash, but we can confirm that Renee takes to being carried like a duck to water. This resilient little lady will make a simply outstanding indoor pet for any family.
