Reward Joy is a "velcro" dog - she leans on you to make sure you are still there to pet her! She is friendly, calm and right now, a little confused. Joy first came to our kennel in August, 2010, and was quickly adopted by a wonderful family in Pembroke Pines. But this week we received a call and Joy had to come back.
Seems daddy passed away and mom has her hands full. She and her son will be moving out of the house and where they are going thjey can only have a little dog. So Joy is back with us at the age of nine.
She knows how to live in a house and is fine with cats and kids and small dogs. She already knows how to get on the couch, too! Right now she's nervous and scared but she's active and checking absolutely everything out.
Since she has been in a home, you would only need to use a crate for a short time to get her on your schedule. She's a very sweet and healthy (bordering "chunky") girl with a beautiful fawn-brindle coat. She already knows how to leash walk and how to behave.
Please consider Joy when you are looking. She's a sweet girl who was dealt a bad hand. I will work on putting updated photos up in the next day or two.
To meet Joy and all our other wonderful, ready-to-go dogs, email (email@example.com) or call the office (954-578-0072) or call my (Michelle's) cell at 954-937-9663. If I don't answer - pop a text out to me and i'll get back to you as soon as I find my phone!! It's always wandering away!
