Riley is a found stray, 10 mo, dob 12/1/2015, 16 inches, 23 pounds, up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, HW/fecal negative. Riley is an active young lady who loves to play and run in the backyard in youthful exuberance with the resident dogs. She also loves to play with toys. Riley is very sweet and gets along well with resident dogs. She is house and crate trained, knows “sit” and we are working on other basic commands as well. She’s doing well with that. She does have some down time as she will lie under the desk when I’m on the computer. She’s just a typical youngster in that she has not learned some basic manners. She would benefit from an obedience class with her new family. Riley will need an active family that will participate in activities that will utilize her energy. Given her build and herding dog heritage she might do well in agility, dock-diving, or flyball.
