My name is Robyn. I am available for adoption through Colorado Canine Rescue (CCR), a nonprofit dog rescue located in the Denver area. I came to CCR from Texas with my mom and siblings. There is very little history on us. CCR has been told my mom is a Lab mix, but that is just a guess. My dad is a complete mystery and could be any breed or mix of breeds. My estimated date of birth is August 16, 2016.
Robyn is the only brindle girl of the family. She is what most call the runt of the family, a bit reserved at times. That doesn't diminish her personality. She lets you know when she would like to be picked up. She used to hate it, get very tense but now has found it is a pretty darn good thing to get kisses and pets. She enjoys playing with her siblings, being inside or outside be adventurous. She has tackled the dog friendly cat like her siblings, is kenneled at night and during people's absence in the home.
It is preferable that a puppy is not left along for 8 hours a time. It will lead to poor habits due to boredom, which can lead to destruction, harder to house train, and needs more socialization. At this young of an age, they still have many stages of learning to be a well rounded puppy.
If you are interested in adopting Robyn, please submit an adoption application located on our website,www.coloradocaninerescue.org. We are asking for an adoption donation of $225 as well as $50 for the spay/neuter deposit for Robyn. Per Colorado State law, the $50 deposit will be refunded once we have received documentation that the spay/neuter was completed within 90 days post adoption. Please note, CCR cannot guarantee the breed composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the shelter.
