A volunteer writes: When I first met Rocky, he has just finished chewing a rawhide and his face was just about covered in rawhide crumbs (more like rawhide goo, to be honest). I think he devoured that thing in about a minute-- Rocky loves his snacks! Rocky loves playing fetch almost as much, and seems to be housetrained. In his former home, Rocky lived with a small dog who he got along very well with, but here at the care center he''s been a little more ambivalent about other dogs. When he''s not playing or eating, Rocky is happy to just relax with his head in my lap and get some nice back scratches. Rocky is a sweet and special boy who is looking for an adopter who has experience with pups who can sometimes be a bit anxious or get startled easily-- Rocky doesn''t like being surprised and for this reason we would also like him to be adopted into a home without children. Rocky would love a quiet place to relax, but still get to play and run and gives lots of kisses. Please come and see this special boy today!
