My name is Rose and I think I’m just as beautiful as a Rose! I got lost along with my sister and we wound up in a scary noisy place where I had to stay in a metal and concrete box all the time. They said I was in the pound. But some of the people there were nice, they took my photos and walked me. I would give lots of kisses and lay my head in their laps in appreciation. Then my owner came and my sister got to go home but I was left behind and I don’t know why. Some new people came and took me to their home and I was so happy. But then they took me back to the scary place a few days later because I had a cough. I was moved somewhere else but I was still in a concrete box and it was still noisy and now no one was allowed to walk me! But I never let it get me down, I knew someone would come for me eventually. I finally got to go on a car ride away from the scary place and I’ve been told that I’ll never go back!! Now I just need to find a new home. I already know sit, shake, and I listen really well and I’ll come when called by my name. I’m young and I would love to go for hikes and I like to run. I find the world a very exciting place and I want to go and greet every dog I see but apparently the humans think I’m a bit too excited and need to learn better leash manners. But you have to understand I was stuck in a box for 4 months!! If you take me home, you can teach me and I promise I’ll be a good learner. I can’t wait to meet my new family who will never abandon me.
