Rosie is a female, 1 1/2 year old, 7 pound Toy Fox Terrier. Rosie was seen running loose on the entrance ramp to a major freeway. The rescuers, at great risk to themselves, rescued her and brought her back to safety. She was in total shock, not wanting to be touched or held. The more they worked with her, she began to relate to the other dogs and the people in her life. The rescuers were not able to keep her so after a few weeks, she was placed with PPR. She tested mildly positive for heart worms and has been treated without complication. Rosie has come out of her shell and is becoming social, but can still be a bit shy with new people. She enjoys being held and will come when called. She loves playing with the other dogs. After a short play session, she will curl up in her bed and take a nice long nap. She sleeps well in a kennel at night. She is housebroken and loves to go out in the sun and soak up some rays. Rosie is spayed, vaccinations up to date, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200.
