Rosie is the most special girl, she is every person's best friend and she absolutely loves dogs of all shapes and sizes. Rosie came to us when her family couldn't afford a very expensive surgery. She had leaked urine due to 2 ectopic ureters that have been fixed. She no longer leaks and is totally house trained. She does need the help of a very inexpensive drug called Proin. You will never meet a happier or more outgoing girl! She grew up with young kids and was great with them. She was born in October 2014.
Rosie is 1.5 years old, and weighs about 60 lbs. Rosie absolutely loves the company of her 3 foster canine brother and sisters. She is just a lovely, sweet soul. Her ideal forever home will have a doggie companion, fenced yard, children, and lots of opportunity for playtime, exercise and cuddles!
Rosie is quite a smart little girl too! She knows sit, come, paw, "crate", and how to use a doggie door! She adores being with her humans and would really like to be with her humans as much as possible.
Rosie is on 2 medications for her bladder. (PROIN 50MG 1 IN THE MORNING AND ONE AT DINNER 10 HOURS; INCURIN TABLET 1 TABLET AT NIGHT)
PLEASE READ: Adopters will not be considered without completing an application. Please visit www.AmericanBulldogRescue.org to apply! Remember - Adoption is always the best option! If you can't help by adopting a homeless pet, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to American Bulldog Rescue, 4 Terry Drive, Suite 1D Newtown, PA 18940 or paypal AmericanBulldogRescue@verizon.net. We cannot place dogs in homes with children under 10 unless that dog has lived with kids or is in a foster home with kids. Thank you.
To be considered for adoption, you must apply using our free, online application. Our dogs are fostered in our volunteers' homes, not in a central shelter/location. Only approved applicants are put into contact with the foster family to setup a meeting with the foster dog. Visit our Adoption Policies web page for more information and a link to our application: http://americanbulldogrescue.org/adoption-policies/.
Looking for a well mannered dog able to go to work with landscaping crew. At least a year n half. Please no time for house breaking. Live down the shore. Plenty of loving care and dog savy. Thank you
