This lovely lady is Ruby Medley! Ruby is one of six in the Medley litter. They appear to be a Labrador Retriever mix about 10 months old. They were found as strays by the animal control officer in a rural area of Arkansas. They are all friendly but they have not been exposed to a lot of different environmental situations. As with all puppies, they will need to be house trained, leash trained and crate trained. An obedience class is strongly recommended as it not only helps with teaching commands and proper social behavior, but it helps promote a strong bond between the pup and her new family. An obedient dog is sure to be welcomed most anywhere you take her! Though a fenced yard is ideal for safe play, if that's not an option then lots of daily walks and trips to the dog park will help Ruby get the exercise she needs.
Ruby is a beautiful golden chestnut color with some white, and is one of the puppies in the litter that looks more like a Lab. She has the most beautiful-bright golden eyes and a reddish color nose! She is a bit smaller than her sibling Blaze, and more energetic too! Though probably not house trained, she does go outside her kennel to do her business, and appears to be somewhat leash trained. Ruby is probably too big to be considered a lap dog, but she LOVES attention and being with people, she's very affectionate and outgoing. Ruby is a social butterfly, she will go up to anyone and look to be petted. Because she's friendly to everyone she meets, she would probably be fine with kids. She is fine with other dogs, but she's not been cat tested. She's playful and puppy-goofy - just exactly what you need to make your family complete! Fill out an application for Ruby Medley today! She's waiting just for you!
