Rudy has received his medical release and is now available for adoption
Rudy returned to Pug Luv because his dad passed away. He is 10 years old, house trained, up to date on Rabies, DHLLP, Bordetella, heart worm and blood testing and crate trained. He is good with children and other dogs. Unfortunately, Rudy is seems to be mostly blind and deaf. He will see the Ophthalmologist for further evaluation to determine if any of his sight can be saved. He has a growth on his mouth that will be removed at the time his dental is done. He seems to have some stress issues in that he will scream at times for no known reason. He is also on a special diet because he has had tummy issues in the past. He also has some allergy issues which if he does not take his Apquel daily he will drag his butt. He likes to be close to you and sit between your feet for attention. We are in the process of teaching him how to negotiate stairs as he has not done well with them in the past.
If you feel you can provide this special needs boy a home, go to michiganpugrescue.com and click on the Adopt/Foster tab on the left of the home page to download an application for adoption to begin the adoption process.. Don't want to take on the responsibility of a special needs Pug, please sponsor him by making a donation to assist with his Veterinary bills.
