This big 6-year-old guy is Rufus. Rufus was found as a stray and is a very affectionate pup. He has truly never met a stranger and he loves to be petted and give big sloppy, loving dog kisses. He loves to get belly rubs as well! Rufus loves to play fetch with his tennis ball, but is not big on chew toys. Rufus also loves walks and keeps his tail wagging at all times.
Rufus is great with kids and other dogs, but isn’t as great with cats. He can be a bit stubborn so a firm, but kind human and/or family would be a great fit for him. He would love an active home where he can take lots of walks!
Rufus is house trained, happy, and loving! Would you like to hang out with Rufus and his wagging tail? Give us a call!
Rufus is available for pre-adopt only at this time, as he is heartworm positive. Heartworm disease is a non-contagious and treatable condition in dogs, but is fatal if left untreated.
