Although I am still only a puppy I think I am bigger and older and can be on my own without anyone. Therefore, my foster family usually keeps me on a retractable leash even when we are just outside for a potty break. That way I can THINK I can go wherever I want, without ending up crossing the street. (That has happened a couple of times as they don’t have a fenced yard).
I do pretty good walking on a leash. It is fun to walk and explore and see new things. I haven’t really met any strangers and I’d like to meet everyone I see or hear—kids, people, other dogs. My foster family thinks I might be a good running partner down the road when I get bigger.
I don’t have any problems sleeping alone in my crate at night. And usually I will go in there by myself without any problems. I stay in the crate during dinner time because I can be annoying to everyone when they are trying to eat their own dinner. I like to hang out by my foster mama’s feet when she is on the computer. I also like to ride shotgun when we go run errands in the van and hang my head out the window.
The kids are teaching me to fetch. I’m sort of getting the hang of it. Mostly I just want to hold onto it after I retrieve it.
I am still working thru some potty training issues, but I am mostly getting the hang of it. Sometimes I will bark to let my foster family know that I need to go out.
I am a fun, friendly, adventurous guy.
Ryder is a typical fun loving puppy. He is about 3 months old and currently weighs 20 pounds. He is eager to learn and loves to play. He is being treated for Sarcoptic mange which is contagious to other dogs. When the treatment is complete, he can be neutered and adopted. At this time, we are making him available as a foster to adopt pet to a home with no other dogs. This means that he can be "unofficially" adopted now. CSHS will finish and pay for his treatment and neutering, and then once he has a clean bill of health, the adoption can be completed. He is a healthy puppy otherwise and we would love for him to be able to start bonding with his new family
This puppy is looking for a dedicated home to provide the attention, exercise and training needed.
Adoption fee $400.00
Ryder will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and current on age appropriate vaccines. If interested, please call 952-368-3553 option 2 or submit and online adoption application from our website. www.carverscotths.org ****CSHS DOES NOT SHIP PETS****
