Sammy is a beautiful adult male (5-7 yrs of age) who has a sad story. After years of living with someone who loved him, he suddenly found himself without a home. His owner was the victim of a recent homicide in Tampa. Sadly, he was traumatized when his owner was killed and ran out of the house and hid for months. One of our fosters spotted him in the neighborhood and coaxed him to her yard. She has been feeding him and offering him respite on her front porch.
He desperately needs a home and is not used to living outside. Sammy is very affectionate and likes to cuddle. He has a very unique meow and he loves being with people. He has a history of living with two other cats and two dogs, so he would fit well with a household that has other animals. He has a Kitty-mate, Goldie, who was also displaced by these tragic circumstances. They can be adopted separately or together.
Adoption fee: $25.
