Hi friends, this is Sharky! She is a Catahoula mix with a unique grey and black coat. She is approximately 4 years old and has the most stunning, cool blue eyes we’ve ever seen. Couldn’t you just swim in them?
Sharky is house broken, crate trained and great with other dogs and kids! Seriously, kids are her favorite. She hasn’t been around cats in her foster home, so she would need to be properly introduced to make sure they would be friends.
Sharky is working on mastering basic commands and currently knows how to sit. Her foster family is also working with her on how to walk nicely on a leash and she is picking it up fast…she is such a smarty!
Overall, Sharky is a very healthy and active pup. Her foster family thinks she would be happiest in a home with another dog to run and play with, and to go on regular walks with around the neighborhood. If she had a sweet little human sibling or two to pat her head and snuggle with her at night that would be icing on the cake.
What do you think? Could Sharky be the newest member of your family? Apply to adopt her today!
Sharky is available for pre-adopt only at this time, as she is heartworm positive. Heartworm disease is a non-contagious and treatable condition in dogs, but is fatal if left untreated.
