Shelly is a 6 year old Domestic Shorthair Dilute Tortoiseshell cat. She has been with us since June of 2015, this time. She was originally brought to us with 2 kittens originally in January 2011. She was adopted in May of 2011 and then dumped at the Humane Society in August of 2014 by the owner.
We picked her up, had her checked and discovered she was diabetic. She is managed very well on a very low dose of insulin. She eats well and is an angel for her shot. Her diabetes isn't as expensive as you would think and she doesn't let it hold her back. She is very sweet and loves people. Shelly loves to have her head scratched. She is fine with other cats, just doesn't like them in her space or in her face. Her favorite past time is to cuddle up in a bed in front of the TV. She's a really calm and snuggly girl.
Please come give her a chance, she will make a great companion.
