Shep is very loving 5 year old GSD boy whose silly antics are sure to bring a smile to anyone's face. He loves to play with toys just as much as he loves cuddling on the sofa and is the perfect smaller size GSD at 65 lbs. and 22" at the shoulder. Shep enjoys swimming, walks, going for drives in the car, being brushed, snuggling and even sunning himself on the patio in nice weather. He knows many basic obedience commands, has learned nice door manners, will walk nicely on a leash and will even shake paw! Shep is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, current on heartworm and flea preventatives, housebroken and crate trained. He's a ham for the camera and loves wearing Halloween costumes! Shep an indoor dog and loves being with people so a home where someone is able to be with him (i.e. a retiree, someone who works from home, etc.) and where he could be the only dog would be best. Shep takes nutritional supplements, Chinese herbs and medicine (approx. $10/month for a generic prescription) which seem to help manage his separation anxiety quite well. X-rays taken this Spring showed that Shep's right hip appears to be dysplastic however, he doesn't show any signs of limping or pain from it and therefore, is not taking any prescription medicine for it. Shep's an all around great dog with a lot of love, life and fun in him for the right person. If anyone is interested and wants more information about him, here is
