PRECIOUS BLIND GIRL: 8 years old / 57 lbs. I don’t come to adoption events since it’s very busy there & we think it may increase my seizure activity, but please call Tammy at 770-314-8974 for more information about me & to see if we will make a great match! I’m a gentle, patient, calm & loving dog who lost my home due to my medical needs. In April of 2016 I had a seizure that left me blind, then a few months later I was dropped off at animal control. Well, Mostly Mutts came for me & I’m very happy about that! I’m on seizure medication which is not very expensive (about $25.00/month) & I have a nifty halo vest to help me not bump my nose & eyes into things, I don’t wear it all the time, but it is helpful when I do. I’m great with other dogs, although I don’t play with them, I also don’t mind them at all, even if there are several checking me out all at once. I love going for car rides & walks, especially since I don’t bump into things when I’m on a walk. It’s like a wonderful freedom that I get to enjoy with my person. I’m sometimes a little wobbly on my feet, but other times I’m just fine, so perhaps we skip walks on my wobbly days. I follow your voice & love being wherever you are in the home, not in a needy way, just a sweet way. X-rays & blood work have been done on me & they look pretty good, so we’re not sure why I sometimes have seizures. I can do stairs as long as you guide me & hold my leash. My foster family has started training me to “step up & step down”. I have good potty manners on a schedule too & I pace around when I need to go & when I’m hungry. I’m very treat motivated & like eating kibble out of hiding type toys for fun. Gentle older kids please who will love me! Energy level: 2 – 4. I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, spayed & my adoption fee has been waived. Mostly Mutts is asking for a minimum $100.00 donation for me & that you provide me with a wonderful forever home.
