SIEBA NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!
Name: Sieba Breed: Lab/Terrier mix
Approximate Age: 4 months as of 10/14 SEX: female
Approximate Weight: 7-14 lbs as of 10/14
Has Lived With: other dogs
Currently Living at: Shelter but coming to the DC area soon.
Special Adoption Considerations: Young Puppy, requires frequents potty breaks and socialization; commitment to spay/neuter by 6 months.
My name is Sieba, but what I really want to be called is yours and I'll bet you a truck full of milk bones that I can wiggle my way into your heart! I had a ruff start to life but I am so excited to come to DC with my 8 siblings (yes, 8!) and find my forever home. Right now I'm just a lil' gal but I'll be getting bigger!
I would love to spend these fall days rompin' around smellin' all the leaves and then snuggling up nice and warm with my forever family! I get so excited just thinkin' bout it I can't stop my tail from wagglin'!! I am fully vaccinated, so I'm ready to go on walks and go to the dog park too! I'd love to pass the day playing with some canine buddies!
Just remember, I'm a jubilant young girl, so I'll need someone keepin' an eye out for me during the day. I'm bummed to say if you work a 9-5 job outside the home, I may not be the best fit for you and if you want to adopt you'll need to provide proof of a multi-times a day dog walker to come visit me while you are gone!
I wanna grow up to be a well-mannered lady, so you'll need to get me some puppy schoolin' so I can have the absolute best manners!
Due to a puppy's need for attention and frequent bathroom excursions, we do not adopt dogs under 5 months of age to homes where no one is home during the day. This means no 9-5ers, unless you commit to hiring a dog walker to come multiple times a day.
Due to her young age, Sieba has not yet been spayed. As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than 12/15/16.
Like most puppies, Sieba will need to work on her housetraining. She will also need to go to obedience school so she can grow into a well-socialized dog!
The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Megan at email@example.com!
