Snowball and Snowman are two very special boys who were both rescued from a city shelter at the same time. Though they came from different backgrounds and didn't know each other, once they were rescued together they immediately became best friends. If we didn't know any better, we'd say they were brothers! Snowman and Snowball do everything together, and are the very definition of a "bonded pair." They have been waiting for several months to find the perfect home to go to - together.
Snowball was brought into the shelter as a stray with a bad case of mange. With medication it cleared up quickly, but it was clear Snowball had been through a rough time on the streets, and was mistrustful of humans. When his foster dad came to the shelter to meet him, Snowball knew he was being rescued, and started to open up. He still takes time to trust humans, but he will be a loving and loyal companion once he settles in.
Snowman was originally called "This Cat" by his previous owners, who had dumped him at the shelter for some unknown reason. He was clearly traumatized by being abandoned, but like his soon-to-be-BFF Snowball, he knew his foster dad was going to be his saving grace, and started to show off his affectionate side. Now Snowman is a very friendly, affectionate boy who loves headbutts and chin scratches. He's really a people-pleaser at heart!
Snowman and Snowball bring out the best in one another. They love to play and chase each other, and love to snuggle up and take naps together. They like to play with other cats as well! They haven't been around dogs or kids very much, but would probably do fine with older, calmer kids. Please consider giving these sweet boys a home together!
