“I gotta get gone; Shooting like a gun; Skipping like a stone! Far as I can run to where freedom is free; There’s a road like a long gray ribbon far as I can see. And it’s pulling independence out of me.” I thought it would be fun to be independent. Free. No one telling me to sit, stay and come. But you know what? I like to sit, stay and come. I like being a good boy. And I like the love of a forever home! I want that back! I’m Sonny and I’m a male, salt & pepper Miniature Schnauzer with natural ears and a docked tail. I’m about four years old and I weigh bout seventeen pounds. I’m a very friendly and easy going kind of guy. I love people and I go straight to everyone. I love being petted and love sitting with everyone….but I don’t like to be picked up very much. I’ll just give a little growl to let you know I don’t care for that too much. I love kids and I go right to them but with my one little fault, I can only go to homes with older children. I like playing with my dog friends…I love that girl Cher. She’s my favorite! I’d like to go to a home where there’s another four-legged friend to be my companion. I’m leash trained (and I do like walks!). I’m also crate trained and house trained too! I want to be dependent on you. Let’s make it happen! Click the ‘Adopt’ tab, complete your adoption application at www.SchnauzerRescueTexas.me and put me, Sonny, as a dog of interest.
