Spice

Terrier

Small  |  Female

Berwick, PA

Spice is one of 3 adorable terrier mix pups that were turned into a rural southern shelter. Upon arrival at the shelter they were absolutely petrified! It was clear that they had received very little, or no human interaction :(
Now that these girls have arrived in PA and are in a loving foster home, they are all opening up! They may require a little more patience and TLC in the first few weeks of adoption. They are smaller mixes, and we anticipate they will be small-medium as adults, likely under 30 pounds.
The sisters get along just fine with other animals, and are spunky playful pups! They probably would do best with at least one other canine companion in their home, and someone that is able to provide an extra amount of socialization and exercise.
These babies are up to date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, and have been dewormed and treated for fleas/ticks. They also come with 30 days of FREE health insurance.
The adoption donation for these girls is $250. To be considered for adoption, please complete our application at www.pawscrossroads.org.
We do not have a facility or hours of operation - our animals are housed in private foster homes, many of which work regular full-time jobs. Please see our FAQ.

Thank you for your interest in adopting one of our homeless pets. We appreciate that you are considering a rescued animal. In order to adopt or meet with one of our available pets, you must first fill out the Adoption Application located at www.pawscrossroads.org . We will ONLY consider homes with the adoption application first being submitted. The Adoption Application does not commit you to adopting, however we need this information that is vital to the adoption process. There are also answers to most frequently asked questions at our website.
The adoption process is as follows:
1. Adoption Application
2. Application Approval/Discussion with Adopter
3. Homevisit.
We are unable to make exceptions to these steps.
Most of the information we have on the pet is listed in this description, including age, prospective adoption date, spay/neuter status, vaccination status, and whether the pet is good with children or other animals. Please read the animal's description fully before calling or emailing us for information on the pet. If you have a question that is not covered in the adoption description, please feel free to contact us.

Please note, we do not have a shelter or public location. This means there are no "Hours of Operation". If you want to adopt or meet an animal, you must follow the above procedure.
