Domestic Short Hair

Medium  |  Female

Philadelphia, PA

From Splotches' foster parent:
She loves being scratched behind the ears and enjoys a good ol' butt scratch where she ends up lifting her but straight into the air...She loves sitting right next to my window where she generally stares outside. She loves playing with a rod and string toy. I have taught her that when I snap my fingers or have my hand low to the ground that that means she will get some scratching and will immediately bump her head against your hand.
In general she still is very shy when you walk into the room, stand up quickly or do something noisy or quick so she loves hiding under my couch when she feels unsafe. She does like to sharpen her I am definitely going to invest into a better scratching post and would recommend that to the future owner as well.
She is a tough nut to crack and have her get used to you but when she does it is 100% worth it since she will turn short scratches into hour long snuggle sessions.
