Sprinkles was found in a backyard in Wentzville about five years ago, VERY pregnant and hungry. The family that called had a dog and she sincerely hated the dog so there was no possibility of fostering her or keeping her, but they did adopt one of her kittens when he was old enough! Sprinkles was adopted out about four years ago and recently returned when she did not like the newer, younger male fur baby they brought home. When kitties live alone with humans for a number of years they do not like to share their territory with new critters. We recommend against adding pets into a home where adult pets have been alone with the family for several years. As happens with many people the new and younger and cuter pet stays and the old one is turned in, perhaps they think they are trading in for a new model; we believe they are betraying their pet and their responsibilities. She is very unhappy to be back at my house and is also unhappy to see and smell the other critters here. I have her in a large cage up off the ground, but it is certainly not the same as having a home and a warm body to sleep with. Sprinkles prefers male companionship and thinks my husband hung the moon. Me? I am just the maid. She is an independent kitty that likes to lay by you when you watch a show, sleep with you and even get under the covers when it is cold out, and share space but is not overly affectionate and will let you know when you have gone over your limit on petting. So a nice quiet house, male owner, shared living arrangements with you paying all the bills and doing all the cleaning, feed her some canned food every day, clean her box, share your warm body and if you are a good owner you can pet her a little bit. Basically: Single silver kitty looking for a male maid that will share a home and expect nothing in return! Anybody out there that can fill this need? Anybody? Sprinkles is estimated to have been born in June of 2010. She is spayed, up to date on shots, micro chipped, negative for FIV and FeLV, treated for parasites, and looking for her purrfect match!
