Stallone was turned in to us by his owner who worked two jobs and was “too busy” to keep him. In fact he spent the majority of his time everyday alone in a small room withouth much human interaction at all. Upon arriving it was very hard for Stallone to settle in, he’s a sensitive guy and the new people and a new environment were really hard for him. He slowly settled in and transitioned over to our Adoption area.
Unfortunately, the hustle and bustle of our busy adoption hallway was too much for this poo r dog to handle. All of the action caused him to be unsure of his new space. We had to move him back to the quieter part of the shelter. Since his move back we've been working on building trust with Stallone so that he can relax and enjoy the company of our staff and volunteers. He's come along way and is finally getting comfortable with the shelter environment so he's is back on the adoption floor! He loves to play with toys, likes other dogs, is smart and eager to learn, knows commands like “sit”, “shake” and “down” and is longing to find a human who is willing to be patient and earn his trust completely. If you are that person you won't regret it as everyday he will be eternally grateful to you for adopting him and proving to him that he is derserving of a loving home, a comfy bed and a person to call his very own.
Stallone's adoption fee is sponsored, he is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.
