My name is Stanley and here is my story. I was rescued by a wonderful animal advocate that noticed I was sitting at a rural shelter stuck in a cat trap. I had no water or food and it was very hot outside. The dog in a trap next to me had died from being left in her cage :-( I was lucky because I was brought to ACT and immediately cared for. It has been 3 months since that rescue and I have been living with my foster mom and her foster furbabies.
I have demodex mange (a noncontagious, treatable skin infection). This means I get a pill once a month and bi weekly baths. All of my beautiful hair has grown back.
I am a sweet, grateful and goofy boy. I can also use a doggie door. I am fully vaccinated, chipped and fixed and ready for a home with toys and maybe other dogs. So, if you are looking for a loving, goofy boy, then maybe I'm your guy!
All animals adopted from ACT are spayed/neutered, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped prior to adoption. Every pet adoption comes with a free health exam in the first two weeks, provided by Pet Medical Center, Fresno, http://petmedcenterfresno.com/
