Stella is a 7 year old Yorkshire terrier (Yorkie) who was brought into the vet's office to be euthanized. The reason given was that she and Poppy, her 2-3 year old Yorkie-Poo daughter, had begun to attack the other small dogs in the home when the owners, who kept forgetting to pen them up, left the house. One of the small dogs died, and Stella and Poppy were brought in to be killed. The vet called me, and the dogs came into rescue.
Stella weighs 10 pounds 10 ounces. She is a little bit shy but very sweet and friendly with people. She is now sharing a pen with 4 other small dogs, and she is causing no problems at all. She has been penned with another group of 4 dogs, also with absolutely no issues. Her previous owner said she is trained to use a dog door.
She is spayed, is up to date with vaccinations, has been de-wormed and heartworm tested (negative), has been microchipped and dosed with Revolution for flea and heartworm prevention.
Her adoption fee is $150.00
Horrendous service. Betty is a blatant LIAR and when confronted with her lies, she just hangs up on you. She will NOT take back dogs that she lied about. Her dogs are aggressive and not well cared for. When we received our rescue for her, she was supposed to be house trained, but was NOT. She was supposed to be good with other dogs, she was NOT. We paid $250 and paid for transport from MO all the way to NJ. We have 9 other beagle rescues and have never had a problem. I would NEVER deal with this facility again.
