Kool and The Gang sang ” Hey, stone love, solid as a rock. I’m in love with you, baby. Stone love, solid as a rock”
Stone is a handsome young “solid as a rock” male who, through no fault of his own, was returned to Rescue after 2 years with a loving family. They had to move and simply could not take Stone with them.
His previous owner describes him as “one of the funniest, coolest dogs” ever! He loves all people, adults and children alike. No-one is a stranger to Stone! He also loves his toys, particularly Nylabones and stuffed squeaky animals. He likes to carry them around with him. But he’s not a couch potato – Super athlete Stone enjoys playing fetch, too!
Stone had an older GSD sibling and they got along great. However, we’re still evaluating how he gets along with other dogs. We do know he’s not fond of small animals, so no “little siblings” are in his future. He has been trained not to approach or bark at other dogs on walks. And he does enjoy his walks! Stone is well-trained and knows all of his basic commands, such as sit, stay, wait, leave it, down, shake hands, and heel.
Apparently Stone has quite the “vocabulary!” He makes all kinds of noises from a bark that almost sounds like a whistle, to groans and sighs.
The final verse of “Stone Love” goes as follows: ” The life we live is a challenge;
Always standing on the edge. May not be the best way but that’s all we know
‘Cause I don’t wanna live my life alone no!”
How about you and Stone living your life together…forever!?
