Sunny, a two-year-old Korean Jindo, has been in his foster home for over a month now and has come so far in such a short time! He's learning all of the things a good house dog should know, including: potty training, leash training, basic commands, and house etiquette. He is now ready to go the rest of the way with a forever home!
Sunny's foster mom had this to say about his ideal family environment:
Experienced dog owner(s) who are willing and able to continue his training. Sunny is coming along very well but will need continuous structure in order to reach his full potential. If there are children in the home, they would be Junior High aged and/or older, who are comfortable and confident with dogs, and willing to participate in the consistent training program. A home without cats. An active and adventurous atmosphere where Sunny can play, explore, and expend his energy on a daily basis. He would love trips to the park, beach, mountains, and will be a wonderful exercise partner! Other dogs his age, size, and energy level are a plus! He's a strong boy, uses his paws for play, and can get overly excited. Sunny would love another young and playful canine buddy. A securely fenced yard. While we want Sunny to spend a good amount of time indoors with his family, he will also need a safe outdoor area in which to romp and play. Lots of toys! Sunny loves to play fetch, gnaw on toy bones, and enjoys pretty much any toy ever invented. Love, affection, and attention. This boy LOVES to be petted, scratched, and brushed. It's important that his new family will have the time to spend loving him up!
