Sunshine was adopted from Almost Home about 5 years ago ... but, sadly, she is looking for a new home again due to family issues. Here's what her previous owners told us about her:
"Sunshine tips the scales at a chunky ~50 lbs., although ideally should be closer to 35–40 lbs. She's good with cats (and parrots!) and adores kids. She's a sweetheart who just wants to be loved — a bubbly love-sponge looking for companionship, whether as the apple of one person's eye or part of a family pile-up,as long as she has that loving connection. " Sunshine likes to jog with her person, but is equally happy with a walk, especially now that she's older. She's slowed down a bit over the years, but like most dogs, she still likes to run around the yard for a few hours, sniff some things, dig at mole tunnels, and then crash in a beam of sunlight or on the couch — preferably with a blanket and a human, maybe watch some Netflix :-) She's fond of meat, nuts, dairy, carbs and will even lick produce for a bit before hiding it in a corner. She loves to have her butt scratched and her ears rubbed, and will comically grunt and yodel in ecstasy as she wiggles around on the carpet on her back."

PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING US! We are NOT a shelter: All of our dogs live in private homes with foster families. Come and meet the Almost Home dogs and their fosters at our Meet & Greet events, where you can learn more about our wonderful dogs from the people who live with them, find out which dogs are on their way and when they’ll arrive, and fill out an application to adopt or foster.
We cannot adopt to homes where electric-shock fencing systems or training collars are used. For more information on the dangers of electric-shock collars, please visit banshockcollars.ca/studies.php and http://www.hollysden.com/say_no_to_shock.htm (scroll down and click on the "Invisible Fencing Systems" link).
We do not have an online adoption application; to request an application, e-mail us at AlmostHome4Dogs@yahoo.com . To speed e-mail processing time, be sure to note the name of the dog you are inquiring about in the Subject line. For Meet & Greet times and locations, visit our home page, where you also will find information on our adoption process and fees.
