This beauty is Sweet Pea. She's a female Plott Hound who was pulled by an Angel from the county animal shelter on the day she was scheduled to be euthanized. She was extremely underweight and suffered from heartworms. We don't know what her life was like before she was rescued, but we're sure she's never known love before and was always hungry, cold in the winter and hot in the summer. We can tell she was yelled at and possibly mistreated because she is anxious around strangers. She has been living with her foster family for the past two years and patiently waiting for her turn at a furever home. She is always ready to play in the backyard or go for walks. She loves belly rubs and will give 'high fives' with her pay. Her fursister has tried to teach her to dig, but fortunately, she's not very good at it.
Her foster parents can be reached at home (850) 607-9097 or cell (760) 815-9400. Sweet Pea is spayed, current on shots and has been treated for heartworms so she's now happy and healthy. Her adoption fee is fully sponsored by her foster family to the right family!
