Back in the late 90's, there was a singer with blonde hair named Sisqo.
Well, even though he spells his name differently, OUR Sysco is also a handsome "blonde"-he's a beautiful white German Shepherd male who was originally adopted from Rescue when he was a pup. Unfortunately due to medical issues within his family, he was returned to us. He loved his family and they were heartbroken that they had to give him up.
This boy is an absolute sweetheart, and very loving and affectionate once you gain his trust. You just have to give him time. He walks nicely on a leash. In fact, the best way for Sysco to meet new people is by taking him for a walk with them.
Sysco is very well-trained and knows all his basic commands, including sit, down, go to your bed, off, and no. And he now only knows them, he listens well, too. He is crate-trained; in fact, he absolutely loves his crate!
He needs a family committed t providing him structure and leadership. Sysco needs to know that the humans are in charge or-smart boy that he is-he will try to take charge himself. He'd do best in a low-traffic home without small children.
Sysco enjoys the company of big dogs, but not little ones. As for cats, Sysco exhibits very little prey drive and calls off easily, so he could probably live side-by-side with a dog-savvy cat
Like the 90's singer, Sysco is looking for a way to be in hour home every day. He doesn't want to be n the radio or the stereo, but he DOES want to be in your heart-and you will be in his.

The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.
Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
Our adoption process begins with completing an application on-line. A phone screening will soon follow, and lastly a home visit will be conducted by our volunteers.
We show our dogs at adoption events every weekend! Check our our website to see where we'll be next!
