Sweet Tabitha and her sister Trixie were adopted in 2013 to a family that kept them for a year and a half and decided to return them because they didn''t fit into their lifestyle any longer. Sadly, they were adopted for `the kids`, and when the novelty of kittens wore off, the cats ended up with the short end of the stick. The sisters are currently in a foster home together, but they do not have to be adopted together. Tabitha loves to be petted and loved above all else. She will even pass on food, play or treats just to get her quota of pets and scratches. If you establish an area to pet her, she will run to it whenever she sees you ready to be loved. Even though Tabithas first love is being petted, she also likes to play and will jump and twirl for a toy on a string. Because of all that Tabitha has been through, she is leery of new situations and people, but she warms up with patience and affection. Tabitha would probably do best in a quiet home, and would love to be an only pet, so she doesnt have to share the affection, but with proper introduction she should be fine with another quiet cat. With a little patience and love, Tabitha will be a lifelong cuddle buddy.
