Pictures updated 9/23/16. Marshall was found dumped on a county road around October 30, 2007. He has climbed over four foot fences or dug out and chased vehicles on the road, doesn't like to be left behind, but can be crated if you have to go somewhere to keep him safe. His dog pen is lined with pieces of concrete to keep him from digging out. He is extremely friendly and affectionate with people, craving attention. He is paired up with a female dog, and they get along great. He is not house trained. I bring him into a crate in a store room we have when I have to run errands, and if I don't walk him first to let him hike his leg on something outside, he will do it inside the store room. On 9/23/16, I took him to a vet clinic to have his Right front leg looked at, and the x-ray showed that one of the metacarpal bones either has an infection or cancer. He is on medicine, and the swelling has gone away. He most likely cannot climb or dig anymore.
