Okay folks, I am more than ready to blow this joint, where I’ve been since Spring. Forget the “not-ready-for-primetime” prefix because I HAVE ARRIVED. When I got to Lab Rescue, I was skinny, full of worms, sunbleached, and I had a couple of mast cell tumors and those nasty heartworms, but that’s all in the rearview mirror and I’m looking for love and action. I love the car and I like to go for long walks to smell lots of stuff; my stamina is not yet up to par, but I will be an awesome running partner in time. I adore other dogs (I have fostered 8 or so) but I turn into Sir Marks-a-Lot if I live with them, so the perfect home would let me be king with lots of playdates or doggie day care. I haven’t been around the resident cats yet and since my owners didn’t have the intestinal fortitude to turn me over to a shelter or rescue, no one knows my history with cats or kids. I love to play ball, but I can be a klutz. I use my crate, but I also let you know how I feel about it. I don’t have any bad habits other than occasionally thumbing through magazines or catalogs if they are in reach. FD and FM refer to me as a canine Rodney Dangerfield, whatever that is, but I think they’re poking fun at me. If you like to run and laugh, I may be your guy- contact your AC and find out.
