Do you love your Granny? Sea Dog Tilda is a "beyond the first blush of youth" little lady just waiting to give a whole lot of love and devotion!
Tilda is thrilled to be living life in the safe lane at her Evansville, IN foster home. She especially loves that her foster mom dotes on her and that she has four foster-fursiblings to hang out with now. That's very reassuring for her, as she made her way to Sea Dog Rescue after finding herself lost, alone, and trembling in the middle of a road! Now her trembling has turned to joyful wiggling and she's ready to give all her love to a family of her own.
Because Tilda is a calm girl of about 10 years, and because like a lot of us old folks, she has vision impairment, she'd like a home where she can learn the layout of the land and relax with her favorite grownups. She'd also love it if her family included another mature dog who enjoys slower-paced games and frolicking. Tilda is a lady about the house and knows the water closet is outside, too. She's been evaluated by our veterinarian, we've got her care plan in place (will be fully paid for by the rescue), and she's excited about having a family all her own. She just wants a forever family to love...won't you consider sharing the love with our "granny girl"?
*Sea Dog Rescue is a foster home based rescue - we do not have a shelter or kennel facility nor do we have regular hours when our companions can be seen. For the safety of our foster caregivers and our dogs, applications must be submitted and references checked prior to setting an appointment for a Meet and Greet with our dogs in our foster homes.*
All of our dogs have some potty training under their belly, however, dogs less than 8 months of age are not considered reliably potty trained. Most of our dogs less than 6 months of age are not yet spayed or neutered but this will be done by the rescue when they are 6 months old and is included in the adoption fee; these dogs enter homes as "Foster to Adopt" and ownership transfer will not occur until after surgical sterilization is completed. All of our dogs are up to date on vaccinations, including rabies if they are old enough. Microchipping is included in the adoption fee.
Adoption fee covers vetting received while in the rescue:
All age appropriate Vaccinations, including rabies (if old enough) Deworming Monthly flea/tick treatment and heartworm prevention Spay or neuter surgery Pre-surgical blood work Post-surgical pain management Microchip Sea Dog Rescue may be able to arrange free, safe transport for our Sea Dogs to their new homes
FOSTERS NEEDED! Sea Dog Rescue is looking for Foster Caregivers who will provide a temporary home and lots of love to our companions while they await their forever home! Please contact us for more information on how you can be a part of saving lives; email firstname.lastname@example.org
