Tink will turn one year old in Sept 2016. This is the tale of two kittens that weighed less than one pound when they were rescued from an apartment complex within a week of each other. We suspect they could be sisters but we have no way to prove it but both Sabrina and Tink spent months recovering from neglect and abuse. Sabrina was being used as a soccer ball and was being kicked and thrown around by some children and when they were done with her left her in the dirt. A kind person living there rushed over to rescue her and she was taken in by a HOPE foster that afternoon. The medical staff at the vet clinic did not give her much hope of survival but Sabrina hung in there and beat the odds. Videos were taken of her arrival and her progress along the way. Tink was about to be a dog toy for a pack of dogs when the same good soul grabbed her out of harms way. Tink was missing most of her hair but it all grew back into a lovely medium black hair coat with tiny white tuffs behind her ears. Tink and Sabrina recovered together and became the best of friends. Despite their bad start in life they are two of the best fosters their foster mother has ever taken care of. Sabrina never met a stranger and could become a therapy cat. Tink is always happy and a bit mischievous. Together they are the best two cats anyone could ever hope for. The pictures of both were taken when they were still quite young and we gave them time to grow and mature. The hope is that they could find a forever home together. They are both getting new pictures soon which will be posted but if you would like to arrange a meet and greet please fill out an application and that can be arranged. If you are interested in Tink and would like to fill out an application, go to: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . You may fax the completed application to 713-721-9560 or mail it to HOPE at PO Box 273331, Houston, TX 77277. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt a cat, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started. If you have questions prior to filling out an application, email us at email@example.com and a volunteer will get back to you.
