All of our dogs are in foster homes and we have no paid staff. If you have questions concerning a specific dog, PLEASE fill out an application and the foster parent will be in touch. We will not arrange any home visits with any of our dogs until your application is processed. Please understand our foster parents are precious to our 2nd Chance family; without them we cannot function, so we do our best to not burden them with multiple appointments. Our foster parents will choose their top 3 applications and arrange home visits with these applicants. The adopter will be chosen at that time. The process can take anywhere from a week to a month. We want to make sure our little furry ones are placed in their "forever home" and never have to go through a rehoming again!
UPDATE - Titus loves a fenced yard! He also LOVES toys and is just an all around good dog. He is very scared of new things and it takes him awhile to trust new people but he's never mean just scared and tries to hide. He is going to be a small boy at most we see him weighing around 40 pounds full grown :) We are looking for a home with a fenced yard and a couple who will have time to work with him and give him confidence. He does like other dogs :)
WOW I know I'm not very old but my life is like a country song. I lost my home and my way and I ended up in a storm drain with my brother and we were REALLLLLLLLY scared. We were sitting in the pipe crying when the lady getting her mail must have heard us. Yes I know real men don't cry but we are still really young so we were howling!!! She came over and peaked in the storm drain and said "oh my you poor things" and she scooped us up and took us in the house and then a nice lady from the shelter came and got us and put us in a cage and that was scary too but not quite as scary as being on our own and they fed us and were really nice to us and then they put us in a car and we took a long ride and then another really nice lady picked us up and she took us to our foster home and its lots of fun! There are other puppies and a fenced yard and we run and tackle each other and have lots and lots of fun!!!
If you have a fenced yard and want a playmate then we would like to meet you!

Please understand we do not adopt out to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not.
A dog is a lifetime commitment. The dogs in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners :( We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the dog is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop!
the first three dogs on here are not afferenpinchers...sorry
