Tovin is a darling saint Bernard guy. He is a stunning guy and just barely a year old! He is a tri color guy with medium hair and a sweet personality. He is a smaller sized guy who will be about 100-120 lbs full grown. He has had a really rough start and deserves a soft place to land. He is a great dog who just needs a home that will give him the love he deserves. He is a stunning boy with a sweet face. He has natural ears and tail and just a gem. We know that the right home is out there for him .
Tovin, Angel and Kito came to us from a really bad situation. The family that they had was neglectful to say the least. The dogs were purchased as puppies. The owners were transient people who moved around about 9 mo of the year. During that time the dogs would be left home alone with no food, water, or shelter for days, weeks, or month. In the time that they have been leaving the dogs at this place of residence over 50 pets have died of starvation, or the elements. So much so that the neighbors watch and when they are gone will go over and feed the animals. Many times they have contacted animal control, but because of where they are they are not able to do anything as they are considered property. Sadly they are legally allowed to let their pets die, and nothing can be done! So these 3 were well on their way to the same fate. They were all so weak that when they came in they could barely stand on their own power. They were weak, wobbly, and barely able to lift their heads. These guys had a few more days and would have passed as well.
Tovin is a great guy and is getting bigger and stronger every day. He is learning to play with toys, have a good time, and what its like to get love and affection. He is learning to be part of a family, get regular meals and be loved. He is coming so far so fast! We have seen him blossom into an amazing pet in a short amount of time. He loves attention. He does great with female dogs and good with most male dogs, as long as they do not mount him. He has done well with other animals and people as well. He was around a lot of kids and did great. He is still a bit weak, and will need a home that understands that it can take months to be 100% from where he was. He is a gem and we adore him.
Tovin is a doll and really just needs a family that will love him and give him the home he deserves. He is altered, up to date, dewormed, flea treated, and is working on basics. He is working on house breaking, crate trained, walks on leash, and knows some basic commands. He has no food allergies that we have seen but may need to be on some high calorie food till he is up to weight. We do not know if he will ever be 100% due to the neglect that he suffered. But we do know that he is sweet as pie and deserves a fair chance.
We spend a lot of time trying to get to know the dogs in our program as best as we can. This means that we have spent time introducing them to dogs, cats, kids, animals, people and as many things as we can. We try to do as much as we can to evaluate them, both with in our group and if the dogs come from other rescues or shelters their evaluations as well. However dogs are individuals and will react to different situations differently. This means that we do not know how a dog will react in every situation. We give out our best guess based off information provided but the handler of a dog and the way they are introduced to a situation makes a huge impact. So if you have any questions of how to introduce a dog to your home, please let us know and we will provide as much info as we can from pamphlets to helping find a trainer in your area.
Our rescue aims to help dogs who are passed by and over looked by most rescues and people. We help the dogs who are in need of medical care, vetting, training and breeds that most will not help with. In most shelters if you are large dog, a big dog, or a male dog; from the moment you walk in you are on barrowed time. If you have docked ears or are a guardian breed your time was over before you walked in the doors. We aim to save these dogs and give them a second chance. Please help us save more lives by helping with our medical bills as they grow. This year has already been hard and we have many medical dogs in need.

Listed puppies as Mastiff-Doberman mix. Told the whole store of the parents, what they looked like, how the doberman accidently got pregnant with the mastiff.... 6 months ish later, we dna test the dog (due to doubting the breeds), to find it is 50/50 staffordshire terrier with doberman. Pit Bull is a harder sell. When confronted with this information, Trisha threatened to come take the dog back, and to put a restraining order on me. She didn't like that I told her she was still under investigation with the Sherriff of Yakima Valley's Plice Dept. The Sherriff told me they receive a LOT of complaints about this lady.
